The Use of Radiofrequency and Ultrasound for Face and Body Contouring

Body and Face contouring with expensive devices is becoming increasingly popular – in some cases even more popular than traditional liposuction.  But these devices are also very expensive to purchase and maintain.  There are several non-invasive body contouring modalities on the market and the list continues to grow making it increasingly difficult to make a well informed choice. The mechanism of action, protocols and effectiveness of high intensity focused ultrasound and radiofrequency will be compared and contrasted.
