Hemangiomas are the most common type of primary cardiac tumor, accounting for less than 3% of all cases. Even rarer is the case of this disease presenting as recurrent pericardial effusion. Our patient is a known case of myelodysplastic syndrome; however, we are aware of no other cases in which a patient with myelodysplastic syndrome has been diagnosed with cardiac hemangioma. This 64-year-old male patient presented to our department with recurrent pericardial effusions. His diagnosis was unclear at first, but after extensive investigation, it was determined that he had a right ventricle and pulmonary artery cardiac tumor. We carried out procedure for him on cardiopulmonary detour and finished resection of the mass for himself and aftereffect of biopsy showed blended hemangioma. Most of the time, recurrent pericardial effusion is a sign of cancer. It is still difficult to diagnose cardiac hemangiomas, even with the development of medical technology. Complete surgical resection .The preop blood examinations included: Hemoglobin of 10.7 g/dL, platelet count of 290,000 per microliter, and white blood cell count of 8300 per microliter. Among the postop investigations were: Hemoglobin of 10.3 g/dL, platelet count of 260,000 per microliter of blood, and white blood cell count of 13,800 per microliter of blood.
Hemangiomas are among the most uncommon benign primary cardiac tumors. Recurrent pericardial effusions are uncommon in epicardial hemangiomas, and the majority of tumor-caused recurrent pericardial effusions are malignant. The literature has not yet established a connection between myelodysplastic syndrome and cardiac hemangiomas. It is still difficult to diagnose cardiac hemangiomas despite advancements in medical technology. Complete resection continues to be the most effective method for diagnosing and treating these diseases. When treating patients with recurrent pericardial effusions who do not have a primary cardiovascular disease, it is important for healthcare professionals to be aware of the possibility of primary cardiac tumors.

At diagnosis, patients ranged in age from 21.0 to 36.0 years, with a median age of 28.0 years. The lesion, which mostly appeared as a mass that was getting bigger (83.9%), was painless (88.9%), and it was in the head and neck (42.4%). Capillary proliferation with mostly small vessels, negative for GLUT-1 and positive for ERG, AML, CD31, and CD34, with a low Ki67 proliferation index (10%), and adipose tissue were observed in both typical and AVM-like ICTH. Complete surgical resection, preceded in some instances by embolization, was the most common treatment for ICTH (17/47, 36.2%).
There is currently no gold standard for diagnosing ICTH because it is a fast-flowing vascular entity (a crucial feature for diagnosis). A number of ICTH cases had somatic mutations in the MAP2K1 and KRAS genes, which are also found in extracranial Arteriovenous Malformations (AVMs). Bevacizumab, a monoclonal antibody against vascular endothelial growth factor, was given intralesional injections every four weeks instead of topical injections of triamcinolone acetonide to treat hemangiomas in infants. Both were protected and successful in the treatment of early proliferative hemangiomas; however, the latter was significantly more effective than the former after six treatment sessions. This review examines the effectiveness and safety of intralesional corticosteroid injections in IHs, a common clinical treatment, a list of alternative injectable drugs, and potential future research directions. We anticipate that this review will contribute to a deeper comprehension of this topic and further scientific investigation. The most common benign soft-tissue tumor in infancy is Infantile Hemangioma (IH); about 10%–15% of them may cause problems that need to be treated right away. Oral propranolol is the current first-line treatment for IH; however, due to concerns about serious systemic propranolol-related complications, some studies recommend intralesional corticosteroid injections for tumors that are small, limited, deep, or prominent. The current clinical studies on corticosteroid injections in IHs are summarized and analyzed in this review.
